The Paul Hyde Band was formed in 1984 and is a group of experienced, well schooled, professional musicians with qualifications from the Royal College of Music, Trinity College London, and the Royal Northern College of Music.
The Paul Hyde Band is typically a five piece and plays a very, very wide range of styles of music and is absolutely ideal for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and indeed any occasion where high quality music for dancing or listening is required. The band strives to maintain the highest standards of musicianship and deportment and can be relied on to perform and act in a truly professional manner.
The Paul Hyde Band play list is designed to appeal to the widest range of ages and is perfect for mixed age functions. It contains music of artists from the world of swing and jazz, through Latin, soul, rock ‘n roll and rhythm & blues to hits from the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s as well as strict tempo ballroom and Latin dance music.
The Paul Hyde Band blends the skills of five excellent musicians with state of the art electronics to produce a Hi-Fi quality sound featuring close harmony vocals and a three piece horn section.
